Our experise of the architectural heritage of the Basque coast
Biarritz, like the other cities on the Basque coast, presents an architectural heritage of great eclecticism. In the 19th century, neo-classical style mansions were built there, then, in the 1920s and 1930s, magnificent Art Deco villas.
Unique to this region, there are also crampottes, rustic wooden cabins previously used by fishermen and often transformed into restaurants or taverns.
Moving away from the coast, we find the traditional urban style of the Labourdine house (also called a “Basque house”) with whitewashed facades and exposed wooden sides painted red or green. Villa Arnaga is a famous example of this typical Basque Country architecture. These traditional houses of the Basque coast can give rise to very beautiful renovations as well as exceptional landscaping.

Our decorators, landscapers and architects work in all towns located near Biarritz, notably Anglet, Bayonne, Guéthary, Bidart, Arcangues or Bassussarry.
We also operate in the west of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques (64), particularly in the municipalities of the Basque coast such as Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Hendaye, Socoa, Urrugne, Bidart, Anglet.
